Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded Indian Olympians who won medals at the Tokyo Olympics. “Let’s applaud our Olympic champions. Not only have they made the country proud, but also inspired the future generations,” said PM Modi.
“Olympic medalists have brought glory to the nation. I want to tell the citizens and sportsperson. We must honour our sportsperson,” added PM Modi.

This year, PM Modi has been joined by India’s latest batch of Olympians who won medals in the Tokyo Olympics, including Neeraj Chopra, who won the gold medal in the javelin throw.
